About Best in LA

Best in LA is an independent guide to the best local businesses in Los Angeles County. It is a one-person project, owned and edited by Brandon Masjedian.

Why this exists

Most “best of” lists don't tell you how they rank, where their numbers come from, or who paid to be on them. Every Best in LA ranking publishes its scoring and links its sources.

How it's funded

There are no ads or affiliate links. Some pages carry clearly labeled Featured Partner spots, which are promotional and sit outside the rankings. See how featured spots work.
