Rankings can't be bought

No business can pay for a better score or rank. Editorial selections may change list order, as explained in our methodology. There are no affiliate links on this site. We do not use other publishers' sponsored placements (for example their “Featured Partner” labels) when we score a shop.

Some pages have a clearly labeled “Featured Partner” section. These are promotional placements chosen by Best in LA, and a featured business may have a business or promotional relationship with the site. Featured Partner cards sit outside the ranking: they carry no score, they are not part of the ranked list or its structured data, and the same business may also appear in the ranking. Fabric and tailor lists use editorial order, with the original published scores retained for comparison. Ratings on a featured card come from public sources, and we say so when none exist.

If we take advertising, sponsorships or affiliate commissions, this page and every affected listing will say so.

Corrections

We fix factual errors (addresses, hours, closures, ratings) as soon as we confirm them. See the corrections policy.
